Indication: This medication is primarily used to treat and prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. It is also used to increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis and to treat glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis in men and women. Mechanism of Action:

• Alendronate: It works by inhibiting osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. Osteoclasts are the cells that break down bone tissue. By reducing their activity, Alendronate slows bone loss and allows the body to build more bone mass, thereby increasing bone mineral density and reducing the risk of fractures.
