Description

Midiven Care 0.1 % Cream (also known as Mediven Cream) is a topical medication containing the active ingredient betamethasone valerate. It is a medium-strength corticosteroid. It is a cream intended for external use only.

Indication

This cream is used to treat a variety of inflammatory skin conditions, including:

• Eczema (atopic dermatitis)
• Psoriasis (dry, scaly patches on the skin)
• Other forms of dermatitis
• Skin irritation, redness, and itching caused by allergies or other conditions.

Mechanism of Action

The active ingredient, betamethasone valerate, is a synthetic glucocorticoid. Its mechanism of action involves:
